At the end of the first half of 2020, “Lemtrans” transported 31.38 million tons of various cargoes.
The loading structure of “Lemtrans” in the reporting period did not change significantly. For the six months of 2020, the bulk of the loading falls on iron ore raw materials — 12.57 million tons — and coal — 11.45 million tons. At the end of the first half of 2019, the transportation of these types of cargo amounted to 8.15 million tons and 10.43 million tons, respectively. The transportation volume of ferrous metals in January-June amounted to 4.02 million tons (3.83 million tons in the first half of 2019), fluxes — 1.44 million tons (1.12 million tons in the first half of 2019), coke — 1.26 million tons (0.99 million tons in the first half of 2019).
The important task of the company is still the rational use of production resources and, first of all, the rolling stock. In the second quarter of 2020, the new contracts were signed for the organization of cargo transportation.
Performance results of car-repair assets: According to the results of six months of 2020, the volume of schedule types freight cars repair at production sites amounted to 3516 units.
