Levada Cargo (part of Lemtrans Group) officially announces the successful completion of a transaction to acquire a minority stake in the capital of the intermodal hub "Eurobridge Intermodal Terminal" (Batyovo).
The majority partner of the terminal remains the German corporation HHLA International, which retains an unchanged controlling stake and operational control of the business.
The Eurobridge Intermodal Terminal is located near the Chop and the Solovka border crossings, which connect Ukraine, Hungary, and Slovakia. The terminal is equipped with both European narrow gauge (1,435 mm) and Ukrainian broad gauge (1,520 mm) track, ensuring seamless transfer of container and bulk cargo between the two rail systems. This location guarantees clients reliable freight flows between Ukraine and the European Union, as well as high-speed deliveries toward key European hubs.

“We are pleased to welcome Levada Cargo as an additional partner in Eurobridge Intermodal Terminal. This partnership further strengthens the regional logistics hub and contributes to building secure, reliable and efficient transport connections between Ukraine and European markets. At the same time, it expands and reinforces HHLA’s partner network, creating new opportunities for integrated logistics solutions”, adds Philip Sweens, Managing Director of HHLA International GmbH.

"For us, partnering with one of the leading European intermodal logistics operators is an important milestone in the development of our terminal network. We are confident that the future of Ukrainian logistics is tied to the development of intermodal transportation and a modern network of logistics hubs, — says Volodymyr Demenko, CEO of Levada Cargo. — Together with our partners, we are developing logistics infrastructure that strengthens international supply chains, supports Ukrainian business, and contributes to Ukraine's integration into the European transport system. This investment will provide clients with maximum flexibility, efficiency, and reliability in transportation, both domestically and on international routes."
The investment amount and other transaction details are not disclosed, by agreement of the parties.
