The Russian military aggression against Ukraine started on 24 February 2022. The considerable hostilities took place in Volnovakha, the city which has now been occupied by Russia. The railway-car repair depot in Volnovakha, one of the largest depots in Ukraine, has suffered major damage as a result of the hostilities in the city. Lemtrans lost its control over the asset in March 2022. The occupants’ illegal actions to seize and try to resume operations of the railway-car repair depot in Volnovakha have nothing to do with Lemtrans. We will fight for our control over the depot with all the legal means we have.
