On Monday, 20 July, on the section of the Voskobiinia-Verkhnodniprovsk railway, a Lemtrans car derailed. No one was injured as a result of this incident. To investigate the incident, a special commission consisting of experts from Ukrzaliznytsia and the regional branch of the railway is currently working at the site to find out the circumstances and causes of the derailing. We would like to emphasise that this car met all the requirements established for freight cars in terms of service life and maintenance schedule. The last scheduled maintenance of the car was carried out by the Baturyn Operational Car Depot on 9 July 2020.
